Buying Antique & Vintage Furniture — FAQs

Are your antiques authentic?

Our antique and vintage pieces are individually sourced and described according to our assessment of their age, materials, construction and characteristics. Where an exact date or attribution cannot be confirmed, we make that clear in the listing.

What condition should I expect from antique furniture?

Antique and vintage furniture is pre-owned and may have signs of age, previous use, repairs or restoration. Each listing includes a condition report and detailed photographs. Please review both carefully before purchasing.

Do you offer delivery for antique furniture?

Delivery options depend on the size, weight and destination of the piece. Please read the Delivery information on the product page or contact us with your postcode or ZIP code for arrangements and a quotation before ordering.

Can I return an antique item?

Your return rights depend on the circumstances of the purchase and applicable consumer law. Please read our current Refunds & Returns policy for eligibility, time limits and instructions. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Can I reserve an item?

Our antique and vintage pieces are generally one of a kind, and an item is not reserved simply by adding it to your basket. Contact us before ordering if you would like to discuss availability or a possible reservation.

Will antique furniture work in a modern home?

Yes. Antique furniture can add texture, craftsmanship and contrast to contemporary interiors. Consider the dimensions, function, materials and finish of each piece, and see the Styling section for suggestions where available.
