The Christmas Curiosity Shop was a winter pop-up shopping experience at 102 Hanover Street Edinburgh. The shop was open between 26th Nov 2025 - 14th Feb 2026.

For a brief season, Old Town Magick stepped out from behind the screen and into the physical world - a space layered with gothic wall art, antique mirrors, velvet ribbons, wax seals and small treasures waiting to be discovered.

Shelves were lined with dark academia art prints, esoteric symbols, vintage curiosities and moody decor chosen to transform modern homes into something richer — something storied. The air carried that particular hush that only December brings; a feeling of ritual, reflection and quiet indulgence before the year turned.

More than anything, the Christmas Curiosity Shop was about connection. Faces behind online orders. Conversations about symbolism, interiors, and the kind of homes people are trying to create — layered, intentional, a little mysterious.

What remains is the spirit of it: the belief that winter should feel cinematic, that gifting can be meaningful, and that our homes deserve beauty even in the darkest months.

The doors have now closed, but the world of Old Town Magick continues - ever evolving, ever curious.
